I truly can't believe that Luke is already 7 months old. I knew when he was born (or even before he was born) that the time would fly, but I guess I just wasn't as prepared as I thought. It's so funny how, our little family that was just three for so long, is now complete as a family of four. Luke and Blake are like two peas in a pod- already the best of friends. Luke just lights up whenever his big brother walks into the room and Blake is always happy to play to his tiny audience of one.
This is usually Luke's expression when Blake is in the room.
Our little guy has two teeth now! They both came in within a few days of each other about 2 weeks ago. He had a little bit of trouble with them, but was quickly back to his usual self. Luke is happiest after he's had plenty of sleep and he's always content when we are outside or out and about running errands. He's not close to crawling yet. In fact, he doesn't even act interested in it all. Instead, he likes to stand up for as long as possible and can even stand by himself when he's holding on to something. His doctor said it's possible he might skip the crawling all together and go straight to walking. I'm really not in a hurry for him to do either! He has also discovered his voice and the fact that making it louder will attract attention. He had quite a time one evening yelling at me and then laughing hysterically when I turned to look at him. He's quite the ham.
Today we did Luke's 7 month "portraits", which was basically just me trying my hardest to get some pics that weren't blurry due to little booger's wiggling.
Here are some more pics I snapped today of both boys. If you look closely you can see Luke's new teeth!
Can you tell we're kind of proud of them? By the way, although they are both gorgeous subjects, Luke happens to get the most of my practice because he's the only one who can't run from the camera! Ha!
