5 Months!

Luke turned 5 months old on February 19th, and he is growing like a weed!  He now weighs 17lbs 3ozs and is 26 inches long.  He never did lose any of the hair he had a birth, so his wild hair tends to stick up all over the place!  He's sitting up by himself now for short periods of time and he loves his "Johnny Jumper" that attaches to the door frame.  It is his favorite place to be when mom is getting some work done in the kitchen.  He just bounces away and takes in what is going on around him.  The weather has been warming up lately, and he loves our trips to the park in the afternoon.  He's not interested in the toys yet, but could sit and watch what is going on around him for hours.  As always, he loves his big brother and always saves his biggest laughs for him.  Here are Luke's 5 month pics in the chair in his room.  Look how much he's grown!

Photo Shoot

I was browsing through some pictures yesterday and came across these that I shot right before Christmas.  I was trying to get a good photo to put on our Christmas cards. I never did get that perfect shot, but I did get a few that were worth sharing.

Snow Days!

We got so much snow!  First there was the blizzard, which kept Blake out of school for four days, then the next week brought another big snowstorm that had Blake at home for three more days.  He and Luke loved the extra time together, but mom was about to go stir crazy by the end of it all!  Thank goodness we are now enjoying some sun and warmer temps.  

Here are a few pics from our snow days.  We ventured outside for just a few minutes so Luke could experience his first snow.  He loved his snow outfit, but wasn't quite sure what to think of all the white stuff!
