Luke is four months old!

Our little tough guy Luke is now 4 months old!  We can't believe he's already that big.
It's gone by so fast!  He has learned how to roll over from front to back and is giggling and smiling now more than ever.  He loves it when we sing to him, especially "You are my sunshine" and "Twinkle twinkle little star."  His favorite thing to do is watch his big brother and Blake loves to entertain him and make him laugh.  Although he's still not sleeping very well, we are working on it and hopefully he'll be sleeping like a champ soon.  In the meantime, we are just enjoying his grins and playful kicks in the middle of the night.  He likes to think it's playtime when he wakes up!

Three month pics!

Finally, Luke's three month pictures!  They're not exactly well thought out or planned.  I happened to realize three days after he turned three months that "oops, I forgot your three month pics!"  Knowing that if I didn't take them at that very second they would probably never get done, I quickly plopped Luke in his chair and snapped away.  As you can see he wasn't really in the mood to be photographed, but he sure was enjoying his fingers!
Three months has been a treat.  Luke has most definitely found his hands and has started using them to grab at and hold onto objects.  He absolutely loves to grin and giggle and he gives us huge smiles when we sing to him or give his belly a tickle.  He loves to watch his big brother and I think he smiles the most for him.  We are still dealing with the sleep issues.  This kid doesn't like to nap!  At the most his naps are 30 minutes long.  I'm hoping this is just a phase.  He's waking up just about every two to three hours at night now, which is a big regression from a few months ago.  I'm guessing this is because he's not getting enough calories during the day and he's just hungry more at night.  We're not ready to feed him solids yet though, so I'll just wake up more for now.  He'll grow out of it before we know it anyways.
Enjoy the pictures of our three month old!
